The Children's groups at MEC are organised by age. Generally they meet as a Sunday School on Sunday and as an activity club during the week in school term time.

• Rainbow Club is for pre-school and meets as a "mums & toddlers" group on Tuesday mornings.
• The Adventurers group covers school years 2 to 4 and meets on a Friday evening.
• Xplorers caters for school years 5 to 6 and meets on a Tuesday evening.
